I apologize in advance and I don't usually comment on these type of eBay things because it is really not any of my business, but folks have been posting these incorrectly for several years now and bother me each time I go to search if any B&H apples are for sale. :-)
They are listing these Apple wrenches as "Bell & Howell". Presumably because they are black in color. Just because these wrenches are black and the B&H Apple is black doesn't nessacarily mean they came with a B&H computer. I literally have a shoebox full of these wrenches downstairs and they came in (at least) three colors that I know of. I have some silver, black, and gold (brass colored) ones. (I worked for an Apple Service Center in the early 1980s and we had 1000s of these at the shop).
The other thing is that I can't beleive people are buying these at $40 at a pop, but at least one person has in the past three months.
Here are the eBay listings for some of them.

Thanks for the education. Honestly I never knew such a thing existed until you posted this. Frig, now I need one.
I have several black ones, a chrome one too somewhere. They are not B&H. The B&H computer propbably never even came with one of those wrenches. They were sold with peripheral cards, primarily, and I think there may have been one in the box when I bought my PowerPC Mac back in the 90s.
And to be fair, the first auction listing you put there is for $40, yes, but for four of them, so $10 each. Still high for a 50 cent part, but...
Break out the shoe box and undercut them by a penny or so and that will make them lower their prices. Flood the market.
Yeah. I agree $10 is more reasonable, but still pretty high.
Well, I thought of it. :-) <grin>
If anyone wants to sell one at a reasonable price it would be a nice addition to my key chain :)
I have a dozen of these also, i must have received 10 disk drives with these in them. Every disk II came with them.
BUT....
Another item that had lots of price gouging and ridiculous price for sale was the Xserve Hex Lock Key.
A while back the pricing on the small locking wrench for the old xserves was almost $100 each when the xserves were more popular.
Apple Xserve Hard Drive / Enclosure Hex Lock Key 603-5324 NEW OEM Genuine
Now that the xserves are not as popular the Hex Keys are back down to $10 each or so.
it was the same kind of OEM apple piece. It locked the drives in place and a couple other things.
Decent machines but very loud and power hungry.
