Power Supply Identification

Hi to All,

I am trying to identify a fried component on an Apple IIe power supply. I have a couple of schematics but they differ from the supply I have.

Mine is a 120v version, Apple part number 825-0510-A, manufactured by DynaComp Inc.

It is the first component on the neutral line after the switch!

A diagram would be great if someone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks,

Richard.

Re: Power Supply Identification

Just to add a bit more info, this PSU was manufactured in Singapore (If that narrows it down a bit!)

More info!

I have found out that the defective component is called a 'globar resistor'.

I haven't heard of these before so can someone please tell me the value and where I can but them.

Many thanks,

Richard.
