Power lump polarity of Asante en/sc?

Hi,

recently i bought an en/sc (the large one with bnc, rj45 and aui connector + adjustable scsi-id). Unfortunately, it didn't come with the power adaptor. I have found out that it requires a 12volt supply but it's impossible to determine what polarity it needs. Do anyone know? I "guess" center positive, but better safe than sorry.... (and i assume that term pwr. won't be enough to drive it?)

I have an Astante Appletalk/Ethernet (no SCSI) adapter that requires 12 V AC so make sure that you have the appropriate type of voltage as well. The most common 12V adapters are DC. As for wiring the polarity, mine had a label that showed the appropriate polarity. I will try to check this evening when I get home from work.

I'll answer myself. It requires 12v AC, centre tip positive.

if it is AC there is no right or wrong polarity.
