I have obtained a complete copy of AppleWorks with user guides and books. But I noticed that all three disks have no write protection notch so every time when I started the program, it asked me to remove the write protection tab. Is it normal that these disks came with mo notch at all? How can I use the program?

Probably the manual starts with the sentence: make a copy of the disks for work. Backup!
