Xdrive firmware has been updated to V1.03 which addresses a couple of issues:
1. Images created on Windows machines would sometimes show incorrect long filename.
2. Using the N command to boot disk in lower slot did not work with CFFA.
As with all of our update disks, you can just run the disk and it will automatically load the flasher program and load the latest firmware (in the file named FIRMWARE). If there are other versions on the disk, they can be loaded with these commands:
use esc to exit flasher program
BLOAD <version you want>
BSAVE FIRMWARE
- XDRIVEFLASH
G to perform update.
The next major release of Xdrive firmware is almost ready for beta testing. V1.10 will have the ability to copy entire disk images between the SD card and USB drive. This will make it easy for example to use the SD card as your main media in Xdrive; then you can extend the USB port to outside the computer and load new images to the SD card from a USB stick.
