Post updated multiple times to correct image display issues...sorry about that...I'm an idiot.
I’ve been working with some coworkers to assemble an Apple-1 replica based on the Mimeo board by Mike Willegal that I purchased from Corey Cohen. The process was non-trivial, and wouldn’t have been possible without the help I got from various people sourcing componets and test software.
Having owned and used Apple computers for nearly 35 years, this was a great experience and will undoubtedly be useful as I begin the process of acquiring an original Apple-1 at some point in the next couple of years.
Here’s a photo of some of my other Apple computers in my collection...though this photo is a few years old and I’ve added several more recently and a bunch are not displayed:
Very nice collection of white ceramic Gold MOS MCS 6502
Nice rebuild .... - but wrong kind of resistors and wrong typ of sockets....

Yeah, we cut a few corners where we had compatible components in house. Now we will work on replacing those as & when we find the right ones. Any pointers on what we should be looking for exactly?

Thanks speedyG and Giuliano for the detailed info. I will start stockpiling components for another Mimeo build as the one I’ve assembled now I’m donating to my elementary school’s library for a memorial to my former computer teacher who recently passed away.
In the mean time, I will also continue my quest to acquire an original Apple-1. Building a replica and spending time on this forum will help me make a more informed purchase decision when the time comes.
I like your HP logic analyzer! I have a similar model from HP (mine is a 1630D.) They're absolutely wonderful machines!
