Hey guys,
Does anyone know if there exists some kind of exhaustive list of Apple III software? I bought an Apple III a few months ago but was never aware of what exactly was out there for it. I'm assuming there are no Apple III specific games, etc?
I've found a few sites hosting disk images but they're all the same.. SOS util disks, Word processing, etc. Is that pretty much all there is?
Thanks again!
They were few and far between, that's for sure. The WAP disk collection has a set of games:

..
Thanks for that!
I've been trying emulated II games with the III but thus far, no dice. Even the most basic text adventure games seem to hang up quite easily. I'm not sure what exactly was supposed to work in emulation mode but I haven't found one yet! I'll check around for images of the III games you mentioned.
I should probably figure out a way to link the III via serial directly to the ADTpro PC -- I have a feeling I'm dealing with a partly flaky disk II drive.
They need to be for the 48K Apple II or II+. Nothing requiring 64k of memory or the IIe (or of course IIgs) will work.

You'll have much better luck emulating games (and other II software) if you can get your hands on a Titan /// + //e emulator board set, or even the earlier /// + // model, and you can improve it even more by adding a 3 MHz 65C02 so that you can run later ProDOS stuff.
The native // emulation mode isn't very useful, I'm afraid.
