Just lost "BLUE" on my Apple IIgs monitor a2m6014

I was adjusting a bad picture on an Apple IIgs monitor model a2m6014 and my ground clip (aligator clip) slipped off and shorted near the R6B8 resistor on the neckboard. I still have video but I have lost all blue. I dont have a schematic. Can anyone tell me how to proceed. I am leaning to Q6B2 as the culprit.

Not having a schematic

Not having a schematic  really stinks. I cant read Anything on this transistor except a mostly missing "NEC" logo at q6b2. I ended up pulling the Red transsitor at q6r2 and at first glance it looks like no marks but under just the right light you can barely make out c2688 https://datasheetspdf.com/pdf/829257/Elite/C2688/1

I ran both transistors through my component tester. The Q6R2 Red transsitor shows up normally.

A Google search of "a2m6014 schematic" literally took 10s and the top two results were schematics.

Its probably been a few years since I have looked for them. But I remember coming up short back then. I have a pretty extensive folder of schematics and pdfs and nothing for the IIgs monitor. No need for the snark.

But thank you for the links .

So I swapped over the C2688
So I swapped over the C2688 transistor from the Q6R2 location to the Q6B2 and vice versa. We now have blue with no red. So that confirms the failure.  (Sorry I didnt include the image of the initial failure. Just image the alternate Red and green pallette on an 80's IBM CGA game)

I purchased these C2688 Transistors and hope they work: https://www.ebay.com/itm/281860050355

2SC2688

The full part number is not printed on the component for space reasons. All Japanese transistors have a "2S" prefix.

There is no reason to take chances on eBay components. The 2SC2688 is available new from Digikey for 30¢.

I know, you never know what your gonna get. Thanks for the heads up. Shame really. I just got a digikey order in a few days ago.

If this is not an eBay scam,

If this is not an eBay scam, I don't know what is! Getting 20 for under $2 from AliExpress and then selling a pack of 4 of $10. Great added value indeed!

I too started having trouble with Aliexpress around the time of Covid.  Before that it was better.  Plus right now I worry that the US and Chna may be at a state of war or at least sanctions like against Russia and Aliexpress might be cut off.  Things are getting crazy with baloons and aircraft being shot down and stuff...  It almost feels like the 1970s when schoolkids were afraid any second we were going to be vaporized by nukes.

I wouldn’t worry about that.

I wouldn’t worry about that. I don’t think their leader is dumb enough to go full Hitler, especially as he is seeing what is happening right now to the guy that was.

I bought a scan converter that said it was for NTSC, I proved in phtos and write ups and testing it only worked in PAL. I even got Aliexpress to "side with me" on a dispute,, yet in the end they said I HAD TO PAY to send it back to CHINA out of pocket, and "maybe" the seller would reimburse me shipping fees. I have two concurrent disputes with aliexpress against my Credit union, and paypal. I bought lots of little odds and ends from them over the years. In the past year things have really gotten bad.

I grew up at the end of the cold war.. seems strange to go back to it. I guess it would be worse for someone who didnt live in that world at all. Im Ukrainian, My family came to this country in the 1960s. My granparents were born before the first world War. They went through Attocities all thier life.. Seems the world is going backwards, not forwards.
