A few years back I purchased a very accurate Apple 1 reproduction motherboard and all of the IC needed to fill the board. The chips I purchased were (close enough) not the "Holy Grail" super rare chips but what I do have is early ICs and very close matching parts.
Never found the time to complete the project. I even have a monitor and tape deck that is period correct.
Is there any interested here in purchasing this unfinished kit? I can answer any questions and send many more photos.
I will upload more photos if interest is shown.
As most of you know this is not a cheap kit.
Looking for fair offers. I am reasonable.

Posting answered questions here (so that I do not need to reanswer them)
1) which type of printed circuit board (Mike Willegal's MIMEO or NewtonMikes board from Hongkong ?
This would be a NewtonMikes because I do remember ordering this and the chips from a nice fellow in HongKong
2) are the sockets the precision machined types or otherwise ?
The Sockets are the spring type. Only a few were soldered into place. Most of the others were simply inserted and legs bent to hold its place. precision machined sockets are also with this kit.
3) how good is the soldering work? Clean solder work. I am no rookie with the solder iron. The flux needs to be cleaned but that would be a later step in the build.
4) is the chip set complete ? Yes (it should be) I ordered a complete set and they are still in the antistat holders. Please take a look and let me know if it's missing something.
5) did you ever put the chips into the sockets to see whether it works? No the project is not complete. I soldered a few sockets, power caps, diodes etc. This is not a completed project
looks nice, does it include the tape recorder, screen and manuals as well?
Yes if the price is right.
I also have a Apple II plus keyboard and wire adapter. This will work with the Apple 1 kit.
The Apple I Kit is no longer for sale.
I've decided to pull the listing and donate this to a Computer Museum in the Fall.
Thank you.
