I was looking on ebay for software for my CC. I found a lot of software on CD. Can I connect an external CD drive to a port on my 575 logic board I am installing in my CC?

Absolutely, the 575 boards have an external SCSI port. There were many external Mac-compatible CD-ROM drives from that vintage.

SCSI DB-25 connector!
