Hi All,
My company has recently set up camp at the original Byte Shop founded by Paul Terrell in Mountain View, CA. To celebrate the launch of our latest product, Bolt, we're having an open house tomorrow.
Where: 1063 W. El Camino Real, Mountain View, CA 94040.
When: Saturday, February 28th, 2015 from 11am-3pm
RSVP: http://www.eventbrite.com/e/lockitron-open-house-at-the-byte-shop-tickets-15735709932
We'll be showcasing the latest iteration of our own invention, Lockitron, but we'll have a Mimeo I, Apple II Plus, Apple IIe, and Apple IIc up and running for visitors to play with.
If you're not familiar with the Byte Shop, it was one of the first computer stores ever. This location is where the two Steve's sold the first 50 Apple I's after a chance meeting with Mr. Terrell at the Homebrew Computer Club run by Lee Felsenstein. Lee incidentally did some electronics layout work for Lockitron.
Apologies for the last minute invite. If you can't make it, this community is welcome to drop in our space at our space anytime during the week.
Best,
-Paul Gerhardt
co-founder of Lockitron
