I got it...
-Cut a coat-hanger into a piece about 5 inches long.
-Bend one end to make a handle
-Heat the other end with a lighter
-Very carefully insert into the broken end, (the inside is plastic) (careful not to touch the outer edges!)
-Once cool, use handle to turn left/right, and gently remove.
Can't say if I would recommend this to others... but it worked.
