I searched the fritter and couldn't find anything on this.

I just wanted to share this. I found these and ordered a few to see if they will work. As soon as I get them, I will post here if they will work.

Good question. I got these to fix a IIe motherboards I have. They will be here Tuesday. I will post pictures if they work.

Usually the video out fails

Usually the video out fails because the shell comes loose over time resulting in poor contact to the ground (the supporting post)

I generally just sand off the oxidation then solder it to the post and call it done.

Otherwise desoldering that connector off the board is a pain due to large ground plane.

I've resolved the flakey video connector output on three of my Apple IIs exactly the same way...removing oxidation one the connector shell and the crimp area and resoldering those areas from the rear of the Apple with or without the case removed.  The best results are achieved by generously using solder flux on these two areas when soldering.
