So there is no confusion, the Apple part number for this controller is 655-0101-B that I recently purchased to be used with a recently purchased DuoDisk and hopefully the Floppy EMU hack drive. I have no cable for the DuoDisk but can make one or buy one.
I've always had and used the Apple Disk ][ controller with Disk ][ floppy drives in my Apple II Rev 0 and my IIe's. But 40+ years ago also used DuoDisk with their controller in my mother's IIe. Since then, I've also acquired the IIgs along with two UniDisks and two 5.25 disks that do have all the cables to string them together off the IIgs SmartPort.
My question is:
Can the 5.25 disk drives directly plugin to this "DuoDisk" 5.25" controller, and are the cable pinouts the same as the DuoDisk DB-19 cable?
Thanks
Probably you will find an answer (and more) here:

Thanks for the link RalfK. I also found the answer to my question in the Apple 5.25 Drive -Owner's Guide.pdf manual.
So yes, the Apple 5.25 drive can plug in to the 655-0101 controller, as can the DuoDisk. A 2nd Apple 5.25 can concatenate from the 1st drive. Your link confirmed that the DuoDisk is two UniDisks.
