I just bought an awesome / mint Apple IIe. The seller threw in a card that looks like a video or network card. I can't find any information on it. It is made by "The Nucleus tm" and had a couple of in/out cable F connectors.
I can't find any info about this thing and hope to sell it on ebay. It looks new.

If it's the same as mine (large metal box on back end with "The Nucleus" logo on it?) with several cables coming out it is to connect to radiological equipment.(Geiger counters and other testing equipment) However, pics are needed because the company made more than one card and still manufacturers testing equipment (under the name of the company that bought out the nucleus inc....actually the company that bought that company!!)
Do a little searching for "The Nucleus Inc. Oak Ridge Tennessee" and follow the trails, you'll see what i mean.
As to specific info on the cards themselves? Found next to nothing but never dug very deep. The card I got had no software or manuals with it, just the card installed in a machine (and another I got with a bunch of loose cards) I'll post a photo of my card too but I need to host it somewhere online first
so I can put a link to it here. Can't attach photos unless I'm the OP. Just gotta get them online first.

Nifty, BNC connector. That is WAAYYY different from my card. Sorry, I kinda forgot about this post, I'll put a pic of my card up when I get home.

Just a follow up FYI. I found a piece of software with my Apple. It is a 2048 Channel MCA made by The Nucleus. Multi Channel Analyzer.
I still don't know exactly what that means, but thought I'd pass on what I found in case that means something to anyone else checking.
Interesting. As I said earlier, your card differs from mine (Nucleus Inc made many cards)
but most Multi Channel Analyzers (especially when you get into the 1024/2048 up to 16384 channels max in most commercial MCAs from that era
were most commonly used with spectrometer and mass spectrometer setups.
Everything I found on the company showed it made (and the company that now owns what used to be The Nucleus Inc. still makes) laboratory equipment/peripherals/etc.
I have a card that was designed to attach the computer to Geiger Counters and other radiological equipment.
I'd love to have the software but have never found any online and none came with the set of cards I received.
