I just bought an Apple IIc with Monitor and when I got it home I cleaned it and I accidentally damaged the label on the bottom of the computer while I was cleaning the computer. Would this effect the value of the machine? The computer is Excellent Condition it has no yellowing it came with the Manuals, Floppies and the Imagewriter. The bottom label is my only concern. Is it possible to make duplicate the label and put it on there to replace it?

Rickymac,
You are not giving enough information.
Where and how is the label damaged?
What percentage?
Did you damage the Bar Code?
Oh...by the way, where did you get it and what did you pay for it?
Did it come with the External Drive, or Printer?
Did you receive any software, etc.?
I got the Apple IIc off of Craigslist for $20 from the Original Owner it came with the Monitor with Stand, Mouse, ImageWriter II, Manuals and the Floppies that came with it when it was new. It also came with PFS Write and Printshop. There is some damage to the Bar Code.
I really don't think it's that bad.
You can pick up a IIc from ebay for anywhere from 9.99 to 30.00 or 35.00 plus shipping that are in somewhat the same condition.
If you're going to be using it for your own personal use I would not worry about it.
The Apple IIc is a workhorse in a small package.
I have six of them with various upgrades and modifications.
The one I use all the time is the one I bought in 1985.
She has a 1 Meg RAM card and ROM 4 and hopefully soon...a hard drive.
She chug's right along and I would not trade her for anything.
