So from what I've gathered, there were a number of changes made to the Apple II case over the years. The two earliest Apples I have access to (A2S1-17385 & A2S1-19561) have some significant changes to later Apple II cases.
Starting with the underside of the lids...
To that of a slightly later Apple II+:
NOT FOUND: IMG_0331.jpg
Inside rear corners, much more rounded on earlier Apple II's:
NOT FOUND: IMG_0332.jpg
And later, more squared off:
NOT FOUND: IMG_0337.jpg
To the screw posts (not sure what else to call them) where they are different on early versus later:
NOT FOUND: IMG_0333.jpg
To later versions:
To the location of the casting cut offs - early first:
And later it moves backwards:
Of course later cases had the RFI shielding, and the hold down snaps were attached with plastic studs instead of heavy duty velcro like snaps.
Anybody able to share pics of an even earlier II for comparisons sake?

I would like to show Pictures of my apple, how do I attach images?
I know it can be done, as I've seen folks post pics into existing topics - but I have no idea how this is accomplished.

This Forum runs on Drupal...
The Original Poster of a Thread can Attache Files, Including Pictures.
The Follow Up Posters can use Create Content and then use the Add an Image section. Then when they Follow Up Post, they can set a Hyper Link to that Created Content..
I still have not located how to Search for My Created Content, so don't loose the URL it generates... Otherwise you may never see it again.. ( Somebody Prove me Wrong.... )

You can find all your content using My account / Track link.
That will work... I currently only have to search through 9 Pages to locate my Image Postings....
Much Better than No Way...
