Yeah you still remember how the last batch of NTI board looks like.

But the grey color laminate is becoming obsolete for the fact that they have some processing difficulty (but not to the PCB quality) and fabs are reluctant to use them and spend money qualifying them into their material pool. Demand from OEMs on this kind of laminates is also small. Laminate suppliers are also reluctant to sell as its margin level is pretty small and they sell only when fabs buy in bulk quantities talking about over 1000 ft2.. the only fab that is still entertaining my order and took my unreasonable persistence on processing flow could not get the material especially when I just order some tens of boards.
