Hi,
I have done some research about the programs that I used to have with my Apple IIe when I was young. I've discovered that these programs made particular use of the echo speech synthesizer For speech output on the Apple II. These were special of programs that used adaptive peripheral devices such as switches and The Powerpad. These were primarily geared toward young students with disabilities. My question is would anybody have any programs that use these adaptive devices?

Probably. Do you have a list of titles? That would be the information from which to proceed.
Hi,
I do have about 3-4 disk for the Adaptive Peripheral Card. Now they are somewhere. Are these the ones you are looking for that I would not know. I also have the manual and the card. That would be more hidden then the software. Glancing thur the manual I seem to recall you could special switches, or set up half of the keyboard for a switch. I did not see any about speech or sound. But I was not looking for that either. The manual had to be about 200 pages.
Take Care,
Hey George, would that possibly be some of the MECC software?
There are several sellers up on the bay selling MECC right now.
Steven
I do not think so. As I have quite bit of MECC. But I could be wrong. I will know when I find the software.
Take care
Yes I can give you some titles. I remember having the programs
Eensy-Weensy Spider Game
And Where Is Puff.
(I remember those titles exactly because when I was 3 yrs old i loved to reset my Apple II and watch the programs load haha)
Anyway, I did some reaserch on those two programs, and I discovered that both programs were part of a series of programs
by the UCLA Intervention Program - Microcomputer project.
I think I had another program from that series called "Switch It - See it"
All three of them used switch peripherals.
Macman,
There was somebody else up here a while back who was also looking for the "Eensy-Weensy Spider" game. Thats been almost a year ago if I remember correctly.
Actually Macman...It was you in 2008.

You're right it was me.
I did post it back in 2008.
So does anybody have any of those programs or any other special adaptive switch training programs?
