I've been working on this one for a while. I think maybe I've finally figured out how to lay out a simple PCB in KiCAD and generate Gerbers and drill files. They at least passed muster enough to be accepted by JLCPCB. I guess I will know in around a week if it was a success or not...
I think you should add a capacitor, at least it is in the motherboard version. https://p-l4b.github.io/prom/

I'm glad you managed to design the PCB, I'm sorry but I hadn't started working on it after we wrote to each other privately: it has been a very busy time.
Only now am I catching up with the various projects.
As Macintosh_nik wrote, I too recommend adding a decoupling capacitor.

I've been trying to learn KiCAD for a while now. This is the furthest along I've gotten. I definitely still need a ton more experience with it though.
I will probably add a decoupling capacitor when I do the next version. I am going to see how the boards that are being fabbed now look and work.
