Hi there,
today, just in time for Steve's 10th anniversary of bailing out for good, I have finished recording the documentary about the re-creation of the Apple-1 manuals.
Hope you enjoy it: Apple-1 manuals: The INSANE recreation (full documentary)

Great documentary. Your manuals are a true work of art and is a must have add-on for any Apple-1 enthusiast in my opinion.
Note: I've purchased your Apple-1 manuals incl. acrylic case and PCB, and my Apple-1 is now fully functional and complete. Thank you for sharing your excellent work.
Unfortunately Apple just isn't the same anymore without Steve Jobs.
Below is my completed Apple-1 with the made by you Manuals, Acrylic Case and PCB Board in it.

Note: I raised the case to fit the ACI interface and made a custom 3D printet ACI spacer / mount / bracket to be able to fit a standoff mount with the ACI installed (see photo).
I posted the custom bracket on Thingiverse to download incl. the brass mounts specs I used: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4983070

That ACI bracket is Brilliant !!!!
Keeps you from potentially causing an issue with the edge connector breaking.
I liked it a lot, too. Both the video (I didn't fully understand everything, my English) and that bracket. I also need to think of a plug for the edge connector, open pins are very dangerous in terms of short circuits. When I turn on my board I always look that there is nothing metallic on the right side.
That's a great idea the "Edge connector cover". I created one and posted it on Thingiverse to download and print for those interested. It fits snug with pressure from the side of the connector not on the contacts.

Thank you very much for the 3D printer file.
Thanks for the nice feedback. Good job on the ACI board. I also have a version now of the case where there is a cut out to allow for extension boards BTW.
A question: In your picture there is no "normal" video cable plugged in but I see the connector on the bread board. Is that your version of the video output?
Yes, I saw this mod on https://www.apple1registry.com/en/23.html , but don't really recommend doing it.
If I were to use an female RCA adapter again, then I'd solder it directly on top of a spare female 4-pin video plug instead.
PS: I might be interested in 2x clear top with cutouts, this way I could use the current case as bottoms for my non-NTI and for my NTI Apple-1 boards. Does it have a cutouts for the heatsink and the expansion port?
