The Apple II Networks II BBS will be online over christmas for a first test run!
The BBS is dedicated to the first BBS that run on the Apple II about 1979/ 1980.
The BBS-Software is Networks II from 1980 ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Networks_II ).
The BBS run's on an Apple II with a Hayes Micromodem II with 300 baud!
Regarding to this time period you can download different VisiCalc sheet's for modern use, send Emails and post messages on the board's.
(After the test run your account will be saved - so you can dial-up again without problems.)
You will have to use a modem that is able to handle 300 baud!
(Works perfectly all right with a Hayes Micromodem II.)
No Telnet - only the real vintage dial-up!
Dial-Up the Apple II Networks II BBS: 0049(0)51309588608.
Enjoy the real old school 300 baud BBS feeling!
Merry Christmas!

Thats way cool, if you were in the US I would give it a try.
@Mr.Fix - there are several mobile phones that have integrated modem driver and can be connected via a serial cable to the Apple II - I do that with the Siemens ME45.
@c0op3r There are different ways to make a cheap call from the usa to germany - just google that ...
