1 uf capacitors instead of .1 uf

I recently got the Apple-1 kit from Unicorn Electronics for my Mimeo. Instead of supplying 17 .1 uf capacitors, they supplied 17 1.0 uf.
I contacted Unicorn, and their response was "The parts list from Mike Willegal that we use lists 1 mf."
I'm pretty sure these will work fine and only impact authenticity which I'm not concerned with, but I just wanted to make sure here first.

Thanks for any help! (Sorry for another dumb question)

You are correct they should be just fine. I remember reading here about that and they just went ahead with 1 uf. Too small would be worse than too big. Good luck!

Actually it may be even more reliable with the bigger caps. The Apple-1 design doesn't have enough decoupling caps, and the -5V is really bad.
