I've got a 80 column card (820-0066) off eBay for my Apple II that had a faulty 74LS245 chip which I replaced. Is there any software I can use to run a full test on it to see if there are other issues (RAM?)
If I run PR#3 it goes into 80 column mode so looks like it's working, but wondering if there is a more indepth test I can run?
For the card you can run the Videx demo to make sure you have all the right characters in the ROMs.

The diagnostic software and video files work great. I also tested it using XPS diagnostic and all passes with flying colours.
Non extended??? Why? Just as part of a collection or something? Otherwise... no reason not to have the extra memrory. So many things won't run or won't run well without it.
A good rule of thumb for me and just a suggestion for you, try f ew programs. I personally like Disgnostics iie 2.1. The onboard test will also test auxiliary memory too. If you get a system ok or a kernel ok I’d say your RAM on the card is good but run a couple of programs to confirm.
