Apple 3.5 Drive source

Does anyone know of a reliable source for Apple 3.5 Drives (the IIgs 3.5" drives). Ebay drive quality is notoriously suspect. Apple Rescue of Denver is out pf stock.

Or... is there a reliable repair vendor?

Any and all help appreciated.

I've gotten several 3.5

I've gotten several 3.5 drives from eBay. The only issue they had is the same issue that plagues all these drives no matter where you buy them from. The eject gear disintegrated. I used 3D printed ones  in the past, but switched over to the injection molded ones when they came out about a year ago.

The other thing about these drives is it's good to disassemble and clean the old grease out of the ejection mechanism and re lube it all.

I agree completely.  The cleaning and re-lubricating is always a good idea.

Definitely agree. Clean the

Definitely agree. Clean the old lube out and relube the eject mechanism.  I love these drives but I will say  I’ve encountered a few that stopped reading and even wouldn’t format blanks anymore. Those went in the shelf that’s beyond my current skills.
