Hi guys, has anyone been able to convert the earlier DynaComp 606-5001 PSU to 230 volt? Ive converted the later models successfully few years ago but have a couple of these sitting in my parts box waiting for some love. Have opened one up and all the caps / switches etc are rated at 250volt on the input side but have not been able to locate a schematic on this model to investigate further.
Any help/tips appreciated.
Schematics here for later model - I'm not sure how much different the earlier one is?
Thanks Dean thats the later version, the PSU I have is an early model the board has 820-0040-A on the back made in Singapore, unlike the Astec there are no other markings on the board. Will try take some photos for refrence. Thanks again.

Thanks a lot PhilZ but this model is 240v, mine is american model with 115v but your link to a Dyna Comp PSU is more than I found digging internet for some hours. I have an American Apple IIe with Dyna Comp PSU Model 606-5001.
This is a new project for me, an Apple IIe to revive but I can see PSU Model is really unknown.
My PSU is now connected in Spain to power source using a 240 to 115 transformer and I can see a common issue for other users. I am testing PSU disconnected from motherboard but I do not obtain any stable voltage neither 5v, -5v, 12v nor -12v but I ear a periodic click, ever 1/2 second. I found it might be related to a broken component shortcut to ground, a drop of tin between rails, etc. I removed capacitors and measured but it seems to be OK, tested resistances, diodes too. This PSU doesn't have infamous RIFA capacitors and equivalent seems to be OK. Any idea about what other component might be producing this abnormal behavior?
In the other hand, I am interested to adapt my Dyna Comp 606-5001 with 115v to European voltage of 240 if it is possible, other Apple II appears to be easy, I do not see obvious 'bridge' to remove ;)

Another choice for price shoppers... I got one of these from eBay for under $50, but I see none available at the moment.
Integrated Power Designs REL-70-4004 These easily fit into the Apple II power supply housings with plenty of room to spare.
But since they are so tightly designed, I would include a small quiet fan to help with air flow. Won't take much to do the job.
They are available in other places at varying prices. Just Google search "REL-70-4004" and include the quotes.
I'm using a REL-70-4004 in a Vulcan. It's just small enough to fit and still leave room for the hard drive.
I have the same PSU (DynaComp 606-5001) and I can't find any jumper or similar to set it to 240VAC. It feels strange that a newer PSU couldn't be set to do that since the older Astecs can including PSUs for Profile etc.
