Flashing a PC Video Cardx

The Video card in my B&W G3 has just died. It's gonna cost a fortune to get one new. I'm wondering if flashing a PC card is possible? They have Sapphire Radeon 7000 PCI 64MB DDR's at my local store at a reasonable price. Anyone know if this will flash, and if so, where the tools are to do it?

However, there's a note at the bottom of the page:

Note: The Sapphire RADEON 7000 suffers from a slight hitch – if the system is put to sleep, upon wake-up artifacts will appear and the system will need to be rebooted. This will only happen when the Mac is put into sleep mode manually.

It works

I have one of these cards (same model) in a Beige G3 running 10.2.8. I get the artifact problem when the system goes to sleep using the control panel settings, not just manually. Otherwise it works great.
