Although I have been using retro computers for many years, I have only been using Apple II computers for a short time. I recently obtained an Apple IIGS and am having a lot of fun with it. I am using it with the Floppy Emu device by bigmessowires.com to load my software. The Floppy Emu supports a wide variety of file types. I am considering purchasing a CFFA3000 card from ReActiveMicro.com, but would like to get a better handle on what file types it supports. Although the manual for the CFFA3000 does list some file types, I do not believe it mentions all the supported file types. Could users of this Device please provide a list of supported hard drive and floppy drive image types with their extensions. I am particularly interested in whether it supports hard drive images with the hdv extension. On my Floppy Emu I am using “Total Replay v4.01.hdv” as well as other hard drive images with the same extension. Will CFFA3000 support these images as well? Thanks, everyone for any info you may provide.

The CFFA3000 recognizes the following types of disk images:
Block devices. .PO is assumed to be in ProDOS sector order, .DO is assumed to be in DOSsector order, and .DSK sector ordering is auto-detected. If a .DSK fails to boot as you areexpecting, renaming it to the correct sector ordering explicitly may help.
image is used as a Disk II device, the volume number is respected.

Thank you for the reply. I was watching an old YouTube video from 2011 reviewing the CFFA3000. In the video even though the reviewer does not explicitly mention hdv files, you can see that the first file he has listed under Smartport in his CFFA3000 menu screen is "GSHARDDRIVE.hdv" and it appears in that video that he boots from that image. Can anyone confirm that the CFFA3000 can indeed use hdv files?
I can confirm that Total Replay v4.01.hdv works just fine with the CFFA 3000. Using it right now.
