I found some of my old diskettes from the late 1980s and 1990 and found some files on my DOS 3.3 disk that are Text files ('T' file type when you CATALOG) that have the "extension" .VSP and .ETH. For the life of me, I cannot recall what program or application was used to create these type of file names. I think the .VSP file is type of BASIC or other program file. I used to use ProBasic programming language, but I thought this was ProDOS-based - not DOS 3.3. The .ETH file type seems to be from some wordprcoessor. Does anyone know the application or program that may have generated these files? Thanks.

I never saw these extensions but maybe the following link will help to remember...
http://www.bibiesse.org/digitctionary/fileextensions.shtml
while I believe that the above list will not fit. Another list (especially for Apple II machines) didn't show the requested file extensions...

So again... I do not know such extensions. Maybe you can transfer them (for example) to a Windows System and try to open them for example using Notepad++ and maybe you can see some content to identify the files and the program used in the past. Just an idea.

I didn't saw any feedback... so I do not know if the given answer was helpful.
Thank you. The information was helpful. I have not figured out what application created these files. I am going through my diskette library to see if any of the applications on these diskettes jog my memory.
