There's a couple of reasons why I'm asking...
This question is aimed at those that have one with only 64K installed.
On the 64K model, I'm noticing that I do not get all 65536 bytes (counting byte 0) when READING a 27512K EProm.
The very last Byte is missing and I have to enter it in by hand.
Do others with the Model 29B have this issue?
The Test:
Clear all RAM in the Data I/O programmer. (Set all RAM to 00)
Invert all RAM (Set all RAM to FF)
READ (load) a 27512 EProm that has a unique value set on the LAST byte. (Say, 'CF' as an example as long as it's not FF or 00)
Finally, check the byte at location FFFF. Mine loads everything but the last byte.
Is anyone elses doing that? Is this a known issue?
Also, is there a 29B model with over 64K of RAM?

Which plugin and S/W rev do you have? The one I have has an older S/W rev, I will check. I hope mine still works, I have not used it in some time.

According this page a 64K version can't be enhanced.
Tokabln is correct. I found this out when I found this upgrade instruction, so I bit the bullet and purchased yet another universal EPROM burner.
I suppose the System 29B will come in handy for the legacy EPROMs.

The 29B with the Unipack will do EProms and will also program the P5 and P6 proms from the Apple II Disk Drive Controller if you have the LogicPAK.

Does anyone know the difference between the 29A and 29B??

One of the differences is the expand-ability of RAM memory in the 29B ... (I believe to 128K)
The early versions of the 29B couldn't go over 65536 bytes, but the later versions of the 29B could.
The 29A wasn't expandable like that. There were other small differences but I haven't researched them.
