While searching ebay for books, I came across
a book for the Apple ][ that I have not heard of
before. The title is
The do's and don'ts of DOS by Brian Howard (First Edition 1979)
Can anyone confirm this book is valid? (Photos would be nice)
I have tried google but have turned up 0 results.

It is possible. He wrote it together with with Phyllis Cole. The do's and don'ts is only kind of a subtitle

It ought to be. It was Apple Computer, Inc's manual for DOS 3.2.
Do you own the book The New Apple II User's Guide? If so, you'll find that manual on the cover photo.
