This one has a motherboard date of 8009, and is serial number 62385.

Just listed, so far price is $499.00

Does have the Integer chips, but no interface cards or drives.

ps: It's not mine, I just saw some folks earlier expressing a desire to pick one up and this seems like a fair price (so far)...

More and more standard II models are showing up for auction. Typically sourced from estate sales.

Yeah, that's both sad and scary...

The early innovators are dropping away from us, and the folks finding their stuff often have no idea what gems they are. I wonder how many of them end up in the landfill...

WOW!!! Super Clean..

Red and White UL Apple Label, but Dark Green Slots and 16K RAM Block and Copyright 1978, IIRC meaning Rev 4 or older board.

And another! Apple A2S1-8955

http://www.ebay.com/itm/221863825603?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

On eBay for just over a day and already 27 bids!!! (So far up to $820.00)

Has ROM card, and original power supply. Looks like the motherboard was swapped out at some time, as the date code on it is 8021 if I am reading it right. But it DOES have the raised power light and an early Disk II.

I spoke to the seller, this was his sister's - she got it as a gift when he was 6 and she was going to throw it away and he grabbed it first Smile

No idea if its working or not - he said its been in storage like 30 years and he has no monitor available to test with.

Good luck folks!! Hope it goes to a good home!

It is a rev 04 board, so probably a replacement.

Re: Another Apple II on eBay

The Power supply Serial Number is close to the Case Serial Number..

If someone had a Rev-01 board to drop in there, that would make it almost perfect...

I have a Rev 2 (yes, no kidding - Rev 2) board dated 7847 that is pretty close to what they need. Would love to get this one but it's going to sell for WAYYY more than I can afford right now.

They are coming out of the woodwork now!

#3358:

#8955:

Crazy!!!

The #3358 looks to be original, has the ROM card - but its condition is unknown as the seller doesn't have cables, etc to test it with.

#8955 has a replaced motherboard from 1980 (8021) and is almost at $1000.00 now.

Feast or famine. Wish I could win the lottery to bid on a couple of these!!

#18951

To New of Keyboard..

To New of MotherBoard

Possibly to New of Power Supply...

I have a fairly nice Rev-01 MotherBoard in an Apple ][+ that it would Swap nicely with....

Re: Another Apple II on eBay

So I am very confused...

The #18951 went for (I think) $1900+ with a incorrect keyboard & motherboard.

The #3558 (?) went for $1749.00 and looks all original.

Huh?

Re: Another Apple II on eBay

At the time of this writing, #18951 is still listed...8955 went for about $1,900.

[edit: the motherboard was replaced on 8955 with a later Rev 4... still nice, but not original as you say. The keyboard is probably original.]
