A thread in which I apologize for my cringe worthy past posts.

I'm just going to jump right into it.
"What is 'it?'" You might be asking, although I doubt it, because asking yourself things in such a way is weird.
Well, I will now share.
When I joined this forum about 2.5 years ago, I was... considerably younger and thought flash animations and really weird fonts were something people liked.
Yeah.
No.
So I would like to say thank you all for allowing my presence to exist here, and for helping with my many questions I've asked since joining.

Now I'm off to update my signature and rid it of the horrors that are the links to sites I haven't updated in months.

-Ranger.

EDIT:
(I'm just excited that these can now be edited again.)

Smiley, don't worry about it. Dirol

We all change over time. Besides, if not for people posting flash animations here, I might not have discovered Homestar Runner.

Smiley,

WHAT????
People don't like weird Fonts and Animations???!!!

OH! MY! GOODNESS!

LOL As far as I am concerned, there is nothing to apologize about.

All of us get get excited and passionate about things.
Believe me...you are not the first and you won't be the last.

Just wait...you'll find more sites besides 'Fritter to get excited about.

Maybe I won't stop with the animations/gifs... Haha Blum 3
(Or at least use them more sparingly, and not in place of normal text.)

AppleFritter, in my opinion, still remains of of the best, if not /the/ best sites of this type on the web.
I've looked around at MacRumors and other apple forums that have hundreds online at one time, and it all feels so cluttered and filled with people that don't know any of the other people.

I recently told a friend of mine about this place and I have a feeling I can coax him into joining. (Which would be super awesome because /hopefully/ I can infect someone with the retro computing bug.)

I plan on doing some more stuff with the Apple II, and messing around with my G3 iMac and iBook, so I'll probably be on here more often posting my findings, and such.

(The main reason why I made this thread was sort of impulsive after I read stuff that I had posted that seemed to come across as short on my part, as I thought I knew more than I did... So that's pretty much why this exists. )

By the way, I remember a while back there was some reason why it's impossible to go back and edit a topic's first post and title --- any chance of that ever being possible again? I've made a few threads I'd like to possibly resurrect and edit the headers some of which I believe were made when I had the intention of going back and working on them at a later date.

I believe first post editing is now enabled.

I had been looking at where it used to be -- I was looking for the old button, not the tab.

Thanks!

Flash animations? Maybe my computer is to old to see them. I see the problem, have to turn off the AR. I am still waiting for 3D Augmented reality (AR) to take off. No that did not help no animations. Just let me know when you have the AR running.

This is how I feel whenever I see old comments I have made on facebook. I thought I was so funny. And I was so unfunny! And I can see that people were just humouring me when they 'lol'ed along .... awful. From now on, I don't comment on things on facebook. Better to keep quiet and allow people to think you are fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
