I am considering selling the Apple computers in my signature. As you can see, the A//e Platinum has a CFFA3000 with remote, and also a Transwarp, and a RamWorks III w/RGB daughterboard. The Apple IIgs also has a CFFA3000 with remote, as well as a Briel 4m card. It is also a ROM3 and has the Buggie supply. I need money right now, and am considering selling these. I don't know whether to part them out or sell them as complete systems. If anyone is interested, you can make me an offer. I paid around $170 each for the two CFFA3000's with remotes. If I remember correctly, they were $149 each, then around $20 each for the remotes. If you are interested in any of the components, let me know, and make an offer. I would rather sell them here than on ebay. If sold, it would be to the lower 48 states only and Paypal +fees.
Thanks,
Jeff
Hello Jeff,
allthough i can´t afford at the moment one of the systems... just one advice:
take some good pictures and publish here some link to the pictures or publish the pictures here
in the thread... it will help a lot to get the systems sold with a good price.
sincerely speedyG
How much do you want for the TransWarp and the CFFA 3000/remote out of the platinum IIe? (Individual prices)
Oh and how about the AE RamWorks III 1 Meg w/RGB DaughterBoard? Is the the RGB card the version that works for the Apple IIgs style monitor or not? If I remember correctly they made 2 different versions, If it's the one that works with the IIgs RGB monitor I'm interested depending on the price.
I have the RGB output hooked up to the Apple Color monitor that came with my IIgs, using a standard Apple video cable. I think it is the first version, and it works fine with this monitor. I think some of the colors are a little different on this board. I would take $150 for the CFFA and remote, $125 for the Transwarp, and $100 for the RamWorks w/RGB card. That totals to $375, but if you bought all of these boards, I would take $350. Even the $375 is less than I have in them, but, I realize you can't get that most of the time.
So, it looks like I will be parting the systems out, so I am going to close this thread, and create another one with pricing, etc.
