Mac G4 MDD FW800 Single processor upgrade to dual processor

Hi, I have a MDD G4 FW800 1Ghz Power Mac and was looking up for a dual processor daughterboard for it, but a person on a webstore told me my machine could only recognise one 1Ghz processor because of motherboard limitations... Will the machine work with a PowerMac G4 Xserve 1.33 GHz Dual CPU (661-2834 820-1470-A) and a proper heatsink or this can´t be done? I´ve been looking up for a solution with no luck so far... I know the processor would run at 1077Mhz because of the bus speed but this isn´t a problem...

Machine Facts:
Model no: M8570
EMC No: 1914
Serial: XB******N1W
Motherboard: 630T4642\630-4641
Model number: PowerMac G4
Machine Model: PowerMac3,6
Bus Speed: 133Mhz
ROM version:4.6.0f1

Thanks for now!

If you remove R676 on the logic board it will run at 166MHz bus, and should take any MDD processor. (Please look this up for yourself and decide if you want to try it, there might be more to it than just that single resistor, it's been years since I've done this) I have no idea if the XServ processors will work.

I have a bunch of these around, but it's been a long time since I've messed with them, so I don't remember, but I'm almost positive any MDD processors will work, but if you have 133MHz bus the 166mhz cpus will only run at about 80%, unless you remover the resistor. The MDD had dual 1.0, 1.25 and 1.42GHZ models as far as I remember, I haven't priced them lately, but last I sold them, the dual 1.0ghz were about $20, I assume you can find them for about that. The heatsink for those are the same if I remember, I think it changed with 1.25 and then the copper on the 1.42, I don't think you'd have any trouble going from a single 1.0ghz to dual 1.0ghz with the heatsink Apple put on it.

VF, did you have to do the resistory thng to get it to work or did it just go straight out of the box? Is the resistor only to alter the FSB speed?
