About the new-style CC Forum?
I certainly don't find it as intuitive. I can't delete my own posts. Several moderating functions are missing or well hidden. I can't see the contents of a thread as easily as before.
Whaddya think?

You should have moderator abilities, now. As for the interface, we are trying to improve it. Anybody familiar with PHP, MySQL, CSS/HTML, or graphics, is welcome to help out.
Well, I hit 'administer' (being logged in) to delete the old 'welcome' message, and get told I can't access that page!
Stuart
Is it working now?
Looks like it - though de-selcting 'publish' is less intuitive than a 'delete' option!
So how do I force the 'read the FAQ' message to the top of the pile?
Stuart
When you scroll to the bottom, is there a 'delete' button beside the 'submit' button?
I've added a link to the FAQ in the board description. I don't think we have a 'sticky' option, yet.
I'd be most grateful for comments about how you users react to the new forum, please.
Stuart
It's less intuitive than some but a a lot better than a lot of others I've posted to over the years

I suspect that it is not for no reason that most forums frame individual posts. It keeps the housekeeping apparatus and the content of each post well separated, and makes for much easier reading. Any other observations are probably premature, given that a settling time will be needed.

PS I find it quite unclear how an edited post can be reposted,
