That's great to see this approaching 1grand. Eventually they'll exceed 2grand and more.
Years from now, many many years from now, the ][+ should enjoy the same inflated pricing. But it will take time and a lot of attrition. Thousands of ][+ units will need to somehow disappear, thereby increasing rarity.
Hey Brad
Great price you received for this little beast, nearly $1800 profit for a 3 week turnaround. I don't think the original seller know what they had.
How did you manage to seal the purchase of this unit so quick? The seller only had it up on Ebay for about 2½ minutes before you snagged it.

Great steal all the same.

Well...no better or worse than a lottery ticket.
But, I would agree...every now and then a seller puts up an item not knowing the value and sets the bar too low. Every now and less again, you are in the right place at exactly the right time.
I have been lucky a few times with 99/4 computers where people comparatively looked at 4a's. First time with an apple II though.
Being a ebay nut helps as well.
I would ask, however, that you remove the link to the purchased apple. Someone might send her a "look at how you messed up" email.
This would not be nice, at all to have that thrown in her face,
Thanks
