Duo Drive Cable

Hi,

Does anyone know where in the UK I ca get hold of a 25pin to 29pin cable for the Apple Duo Drive?

Or I could make one if someone could let me know the connections.

Many Thanks,

Richard.

Re: Duo Drive Cable

Hmmm....

Am I missing somthing here. I have seen for sale on ebay, controller cards fot Apple Unidisk drives that will support up to two drives. As there is only 1 DB19 connector then I assume the drives would be daisy chained?

Does this then mean that for my Duo disk drive I would need a controller card that had a DB25 connector as standard and that the card I have is in fact for a Unidisk?

Just getting into Apple so I'm on a learning curve!

That's correct. You can daisy chain two Unidisks together.

No, you need a cable that has a DB19 on one end and a DB25 on the other, like this:

You can't daisy chain anything with the Duodisk; it's already daisychained internally.
