I just purchased an Apple IIe from craigslist for only $15. It looks to be in great shape. I am looking to fix it for fun, and possibly selling it later on. It came with what I believe to be everything. CPU, monitors, 2 floppy disc drives,Family Feud disc, and what I believe to be an audio cable. It didn't have the aux cable to connect to the monitor but I had one laying around the house.
It powers up just fine, but the picture looks pretty glitchy. After a while, it eventually says SYSTEM OK. If I press any keys it goes back to the glitchy screen.
What can I do to fix this?

Sounds like it is booting into the self test, which might mean that there is something wrong with the keyboard. Could it be disconnected? If it is, it will cycle the self test repeatedly.
I've checked it and it seems to be connected fine. The power light on the keyboard comes on when I turn the power on. I'm gonna try to find a replacement online.
I've read that the disc drives are supposed to make noise when you power on. I have a floppy disc in the main drive, but I hear nothing.
Standard behavior for a IIe with the keyboard disconnected is to run the self-test. However, if the power light is on, then the keyboard is not disconnected. Check for a stuck key. Probably the Closed-Apple key, next to the space bar.
