new uses for an apple IIe platinum?

i have an apple IIe platinum which i bought a few months ago, but have gotten bored with since. I love the Apple II line of computers, as they were the first I ever used. I was using it just to play old games that I would transfer to the Apple via serial cable from a windows PC, and then store the games on floppies for the apple. Now, I'm looking for a use for it like an IRC client or a terminal or something more interesting. Any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

thanks

You could take a look at this page: http://www.dataswamp.net/apple2eserialterm/ to see one example of using a //e as an IRC terminal. I think there are links at the bottom of the page to other sites as well.

Yes, I have already used my u

Yes, I have already used my unenhanced //e as a terminal to a Power Mac G3. It gets boring after awhile if you don't have any interesting UNIX/command-line software to run on the host machine.
