Need Help with Mountain Hardware Apple II Clock Card

I recently aquired a Mountain Hardware Apple II Clock Card. But I have no idea on how to use it exactly. What slot it goes in , any kind of keyboard commands , etc.. I need to find a site that has the original Documentation for this card , and also any disks that came with this card , that I can download. If they are in .DSK format , even better...

So if anyone can help that would be awsome.

Thanks.

I haven't found the documenta

I haven't found the documentation but I found some drivers here:

http://mirrors.apple2.org.za/ground.icaen.uiowa.edu/apple8/Utils/

named:

mtclock.*

Here is some explain of these files.

http://mirrors.apple2.org.za/ground.icaen.uiowa.edu/apple8/Utils/mtclock.txt

I remember seeing a lot of slot clocks being placed in slot 7.

No Protective Battery Holder For Card?

I notice on the card itself , there is a 9Volt connector , but there is no sleeve or protective holder for the 9Volt? I don't want the battery to lay on the motherboard , do you guys have any suggestions on this? Or is this the norm for this board?

Thanks..

9 Volt Battery Secured To Card! Velcro!

OK! I figured out how to secure the 9Volt to the card , I just used some good old fashioned Velcro tape! I works like a charm , and since I have tons of the stuff here , it is no problem to change the small peice for the 9Volt when ever it needs it! The only thing is this , the card resides in Slot 7 now. Not exactly sure if it supposed to be there or not , but now I need to figure out how to use it? Does this card only show times in programs like Copy ][ PLUS or does it show dates and times in Prodos? Hopefully someone will have the original Disk Images for this card and a PDF of the original Documentation for this card.

Thanks too everyone who replied to my questions regarding this card and I look forward to more replys in the future.

Thanks again.

Yo Patrick, Were you able

Yo Patrick,

Were you able to get your Mountain Clock to run?
If so what is the source for the software etc etc.
I am also considering buying one for Xmas - but only if I have a way to make it work.

I have a Mountain clock card

I think the 9 volt battery was secured somehow with a little tie wrap, but your velcro solution sounds like a better idea to me.

I put the Mountain clock card in one of the slots from 2 to 5, but it shouldn't matter too much which slot the card goes into.

I remembering hacking around a bit and figured out how to get the time from the card. I think I wrote a little program that would output the time. I could look into my archives for the program if you want.
