Hey folks.
Not yet having a battery for the watch itself, I inserted some batteries in to the wireless doohicky and plugged it in to my ][+ clone.
It booted and asked me for the year. I entered "76" and hit return. It continued as one would expect.
Presented with a ProDOS menu, I chose the option for "calendar". I was promptly dumped at a monitor prompt. I reboot and it no longer recognises the UC-2301 blob. I think the switch on the side may've been in "set" mode while all this was going on.
Help! I hope I haven't broken it.
I reset the blob using the Utilities disk and it seems to be working now. Phew.
Next problem..... the TimeTrax software is doing random weird things like scrolling the screen with gibberish. Tomorrow I'll check out & reseat my RAM and things and see how it goes.

Do you have a standard II+ you could try it on, or even better, a IIe? I've never tried it with a II+.
It wouldn't hurt to run a memory test.
All I have is this ][+ clone and a //e motherboard.
I just finished moving the ][+ clone in to a tower case, which doesn't make it work better, but it does look nicer. How do I run a RAM test? Last I remember it was working.....
For example: When I am using TimeTrax, selecting any option which requires input down the bottom of the screen causes the machine to freeze and beep when keys are pressed.
Also Tom - might want to check your other packages, as my Clock Utilitis disk was bent! I think I can still read it to make a copy though.
