Anyone Ever Buy From The Mac Attic

Did anyone here ever buy from www.macattic.com? I was thinking about buying a Pismo PowerBook from them, they have great prices for an upgraded one? Are they reputable to buy from? Thanks for your opinion!

Another grammar peeve of mine

Another grammar peeve of mine. There should be a period after upgraded one, not a question mark.

Prices?

Hey,

Over $200 for a PB1400? I don't think so. Check online swap lists and eBay. Mac Attic seems way over-priced.

I didn't plan on ordering a 1

I didn't plan on ordering a 1400 from them, I wanted a Pismo, $195 upgraded, whenever I could only find a basic WallStreet for $210, although I do think that the 1400 is overpriced! My dad will also not let me use E-Bay, so that is out of the question.

Mac Attic

I think you've misread their web site. They offer a Pismo G4 ugrade for $229.95--that's for the G4 daughtercard, not for a Powerbook WITH the upgrade (at least as I read it).
