Yes, but you need the special dual-head DVI card in order to use it, which costs another $600.
All in all it totals out to about 4000 dollars for that display.
For half that, you could get a 40' flatscreen TV with a VGA adapter.
Because we all know that computing on a 40" screen at 640x480 is a desirable thing.
well at least i do
I didn't mean to say that it would be better, only cheaper .
And speaking of 640x480, I just got a 13 year old Packard Bell display working with my Sony laptop, running XP. Comparing 1024x768, 75hz LCD with 640x480, 60hz CRT, I sure am glad I live now.
2560x1600 resolution: Near theater quality. YEAH, BABY! YEAH! My wife says when I get us rich she'll let me buy a few of 'em. I laughed. I dreamed. I came back to reality and remembered I can't even afford a typical VGA LCD monitor...
one of my friends coworkers uses a 40in plasma as his display, at like 2048-1800 or some amazing resoulution, so you arent limited to 640-480 thats just on the crappy gateway plasmas, but even a nice 40in one is less than 4.000 now
And, would that work with my B&W?
