Here are the promised screenshots from my Macintosh IIci ATX PC.
If you haven't seen the photos and details, look here: http://www.applefritter.com/node/19482
This is Ubuntu Linux and the XFCE desktop environment with a Mac theme that I made from bits of other themes and my own graphics.
let me help you out a bit... BTW, looks good!!!
Well, I thought the uploaded file links were good enough, but thanks for posting three of my ten images on the actual thread. They're uploaded in a specific order, for those wondering.
hey, you want all ten, i can give you all ten... if you want i can delete them. whatever. i was just trying to help. You know, i llike your project... but maybe not so much your attitude.
Really. Very nice project. I still think it looks good.
Hey, I never meant to sound harsh. Sorry about that.
no problem
so, its been a few days now... hows the system still running. No heat problems? I wouldnt think that there would be, but maybe? Also, I dont recall seeing how you got a network connection to the machine? Did you go wireless or is there just an ethernet cable passed thru the case?
I had to disassemble the machine for parts, sadly. However, it ran for days without problems when I did have it going.
Ethernet is just a wire passed through the case.
