Wonder how much of a performance upgrade they'll be with a sawtooth or gigabit ethernet...

Oh, wait, that was way back in '03. Sorry, didn't see the date before. Darn.
if it wasn't, then that is a pretty sick joke...
nope, its dated July 7, 2003!
Yeah, it's the humor section of LEM, good times. Though it's sad to think how the G5 is another dead end in Apple's product line. The G5 never quite lived up to everyone's expecations. In my opinion, the G5 iMacs and G5 towers are among the most disappointing Macs of all time. The Performa 6400, Nubus Power Macs, IIvx, and Classic II come to mind as the most disappointing machines ever.
I'm not saying that those are bad machines, they just weren't as great as I had been lead to believe.
one sticks out in memory, also from LEM, it was right when they announced the release of the G5. LEM posted a "No Mac Left Behind" article. It showed how they were gonna produce upgrades for all old macs. Too funny!
Yep, humor. Notice how they used a bold highlight on some of the most poignant parts. President R.U. Gullible? Dead giveaway, even if it wasn't in the humor section.
Yep, It's a joke son !

I love how the NeXT Cube upgrade price is "free".
