I was wondering if anyone can show me where to get or download a reasonably good flight simulator for System 6 and Mac SE. I already have Fokker Triplane, but haven't found any others that work. Also, I am trying to connect it to the internet; it has an ethernet card in it, and it boots into system 7, but it won't connect. Any help?
Thanks,
Jake
Have you tried Jag's Web Kit for the 68k mac for getting online. http://www.jagshouse.com/internet_on_system_6.html ill have to get back to you on the simulator though.

wow i kinda got busted for posting that same link. something about "Abandonware software licence" how come you did not delete his link? here is my same topic with that link. http://www.applefritter.com/cgi-bin/YaBB/YaBB.pl?board=software;action=display;num=1069806484;start=0#0
not sure about the flight sim part; but a friend of mine and I turned an SE/30 into a webserver at one point... upped the ram to 64 or 128 megs (can't remember)... use MODE 32, do NOT use the standard 32-bit enabler... MODE 32 works so much better. We had that ethernet card for the machine too. I can't remember if we put 7.1 on the machine or 7.6.1... I think it was 7.6.1.. but nevertheless, once you get it going, you will probably need some of the newer ethernet-related extensions and TCP/IP control panel from either 7.5.3 or 7.6 (so you can still stick with 7.1 to keep the system trimmed down, but you'll still need the newer stuff). Blahblahblah, I rambe, point is- it can be done. Make sure you have access to a low-level browser too
