Wow, those are so rare; they're not even made anymore! The only one I have is in my PB100. Good luck finding one!
You'd be better off getting a SCSI-IDE adapter and an IDE drive.
the only one I have is also in my PB100. the one in the 145 I aquired is an IDE with a SCSI adapter board strapped underneath. I heard those boards can only take up to 8gb. good luck indeed. I will fire up ebay and see how large these things get...

a quick chec of ebay almost gave me a heart attack. a 73gb 10,000 RPM SCSI laptop hard drive for $400.
on the lower end, somebody is selling a 1gb for $40.
in the middle, there is a nice IBM 36gb one here for 60 quid+10 for shipping. damn expensive.
good luck with that. if I had one, I would give it to you for free, just because they are SO expensive.

I'm not sure, but I think those drives have different interfaces, digital.
On the other hand, macdan has a good page on scsi-ide adapters:

I would almost put money down that the 36Gb drive is meant to stand on edge with a bunch of tohers in a RAID setup in a rack mount case... 2.5" SCA just screams blade system RAID array to me.
I'm just looking for something a bit more modern than a 160MB drive to put into an old 500 series PB. I certainly don't need 20-40 gigs for $400. I'm thinking more like a 1 or 2 gig and maybe a bit faster than the 3800 (?) rpm's that many older laptops used back in the day. I have checked ebay, but I'd rather deal with a dedicated Mac community than the ebay community.
Do you have a link? I'm highly skeptical that any manufacturer would be able to make a 73GB 10K RPM hard drive in a laptop form factor...the physical dimensions of such a drive, its power requirement, and its heat output would be major limiting factors.
