I thought the rumours were rumours but turns out they weren't. I really like it. For the price and what you get I think I will get one. Seems like it would hurt the sales of the Mac Mini though.

this is the worst Apple 30th anniversary ever!
I was really hoping for a surprise "30th Anniversary Mac" ... maybe a mini, where the entire top of it is an LCD... or with a small lense that projects like an LCD projector...
I should have known. Apple doesn't do anything unless they have to... and they knew that we'd be all excited even if there wasn't some new, exceptionally cool Mac.

keep in mind that although today is the ACTUAL 30th birthday of apple computer, it is not a common business practice for a company to make a big announcement during a weekend.. Monday's around the bend and I would bet that if there's going to be any big "bonanza" it would happen at the start of a week, not the end
