It's a 20.1" Dell 2001fp. Makes my poor 17" seem small.
I would not have drilled holes in my floor and ceiling for such an unreliable machine.
I didn't. I used a 40A shore durometer high-grade polyethelene vhb-adhesive-baked rubber as pads on top and bottom. It's just wedged in there. You could yank on it and not much would happen.

The Dell 2001fp has the advantage of a VESA compliant mount. In the back of the monitor, you'll find a 4.75" square "cutout" in the plastic. This is what the standard desk stand clips in to. From a local metal supplier, I bought a 3/16" thick x 4.75" square aluminum plate. Drilled holes in it with a Dewalt. I screwed the plate to the 80/20 structural framing, then I screwed the monitor to the plate.
The whole setup probably weighs in the ballpark of 75-85 pounds. The monitor itself weighs about 20.
